How Do I Place an Order?

We make it easy to order planters to house your growing plants. You can order directly from our website using the shop and cart features, contact us over the phone at 888-692-3000, or email us at sales@plantercraft.com. If you have any inquiries about custom sizes or jobs, please get in touch with us by telephone or email. You may also be able to find the answers to your custom planters FAQ on our custom planters page. Please note, we DO NOT ship to  Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

Can You Make Custom Sizes / Use Custom Materials?

Yes, customer satisfaction is our top priority, so if you have a unique shape or particular size you want for your metal planters, we can work with you! We will manufacture planters in any shape, style, or size to meet your requirements. Although our most popular materials are Corten Steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, we can manufacture your custom planter from any metal you require. Can You Drill Drainage Holes for Me?

Yes! When you place an order for metal planters from PlanterCraft, you can select with or without drainage holes. We know that for real plants, having holes in the bottom of the planter is essential for allowing excess water to drain. This drainage option helps your plant grow healthy and decreases root rot risk.

Do Your Products Come with a Warranty?

Yes, we back most of our products with at least a one-year warranty. Unlike other types of planters, like plastic or fiberglass planters, metal ages well and is more long-lasting. Fiberglass and other materials don’t always have the same strength and durability as metal. That’s why you can count on metal planters from PlanterCraft to provide the container needed to keep your plants healthy for years to come.

What Is Your Return Policy?

Can I Cancel My Order?

We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel your order for whatever reason. We will take cancellations on a case-by-case basis and try to accommodate your request. The cancellation approval will depend on where in the manufacturing process the planter is. Please contact us as soon as possible if you think you may want to cancel your order.

What Is Your Delivery Policy?

Not many things in life are free anymore, but when you order from PlanterCraft, shipping is free within the continental United States (no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico)! As you’re getting ready to add our beautiful metal planters outdoors or indoors, you can rest assured that our team will take care of the logistics from A to Z!

What Is Your Turnaround Time?

Simple projects and standard sizes have a turnaround time of approximately two weeks. For custom orders, factors that affect shipping time must be considered. For example, the project size, complexity, scheduled completion/due date, and other factors can affect how long it takes us to craft your unique planter. Ask your project manager for an estimated completion date.

Do You Offer Powder Coating?

Yes, our aluminum products come with the option of selecting different powder-coated paint colors. We also offer custom color choices. Whether you’re looking for rustic bronze, sleek black, clean white, or something else, we can help you get the right color options for your plants’ home. Please contact us for a quote.

What Is Powder Coating?

Powder coating is a process where finely ground particles of colored polyesters, acrylics, or polyurethane are given a positive electric charge. It is then dry-sprayed onto metal products, which have been given a negative charge. The positively charged color particles cling to the negatively charged metal. Once the desired thickness is achieved, the metal planter is quickly heated to melt and cure the powder to the metal.

What Are the Benefits of Powder Coating Aluminum?

Powder coating your metal planter allows the color to stay truer for longer compared to liquid paint, which needs to be touched up or repainted every few years. It also makes the planter more resistant to scratches, scuffs, and weather than liquid paint.

Can I Expedite the Rusting on My Corten Steel Planters?

The complete rusting process of Corten Steel takes about three to 12 months to get that rich orange-brown color, depending on how much the planter is exposed to the elements. However, expediting the process with just a few household items, such as a spray bottle, hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar, and salt is possible. How will my order be delivered, Standard Shipping or Freight Delivery?

Once you place your order, we will determine the best way to ensure your product gets to you safely and efficiently. Standard shipping methods are typically used for smaller planters and items. Orders containing multiple items or products that exceed certain size or weight thresholds may require freight delivery. We work with quality Freight Carriers equipped to handle larger and heavier items that may not fit within the limitations of standard shipping methods.

I need the order to be delivered quicker than lead time estimates, is that possible?

Most of the time, we can accommodate expedited orders at an additional fee. Reach out to us for more information. Lots of moving parts are involved, so it all depends on the job size, delivery location, shipping time, chosen material, finish and manufacturing availability.

What to expect during freight delivery?

Freight deliveries are a bit more in depth. Once the shipment is picked up from us, it takes about 24hrs for the tracking progress to show up. Once the shipment reaches the terminal nearest to the delivery address, the carrier will reach out to the recipient to schedule a convenient date and time window for delivery. Our shipments always include liftgate delivery. All deliveries are curbside delivery only.

Do freight deliveries require someone to be present during delivery?

Yes, all freight deliveries require an adult to be present to sign the delivery receipt, BOL and to inspect the shipment upon arrival.

My house access is blocked with trees and I'm not sure if large trucks will be able to reach me, what do I do?

Reach out to us before placing an order. Let us know Your concerns, and we’ll try to find the best solution.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes, all shipments have tracking numbers, regardless whether it’s a small package or large pallet. (Local Deliveries are an exception, as we use local drivers who complete the delivery same day).

My order arrived damaged, what should I do?

If you notice broken packaging right away, note the damage to the driver and reach out to us. Take pictures of the shipment as it arrived, also make sure to take pictures of the damaged items, and we’ll make it right.

What carriers do you use?

We’re partnered with multiple large carriers, which include “Fedex LTL, T-Force Freight, Daylight Transport, UPS, Fedex Ground/Express.

Do you deliver on the weekends?

No, we do not deliver on the weekends.

Can I specify an exact delivery date? We will have a crew on site, and will need to coordinate the delivery?

Yes! All carriers will reach out to You prior delivery to schedule the date and time window that works for You.
